Zuhdi al-Adawi: Visiting Artist of MADE IN PALESTINE

Zuhdi al-Adawi, former political prisoner and Palestinian artist, is the featured visiting artist for MADE IN PALESTINE in New York City. Al-Adawi's art, featured in the MADE IN PALESTINE exhibition, was produced while he was a political prisoner in a Zionist jail. Freed in a prisoner exchange and living today in Damascus, Syria, Zuhdi al-Adawi will be our honored guest during the exhibition's opening.

Zuhdi al-Adawi will be present at the gala opening celebration of MADE IN PALESTINE and at various events during his time in New York City. This page will be updated with details of his events while in the New York City area as they are scheduled. Meetings with our visiting artist, Zuhdi al-Adawi, can be arranged for tour groups of students and youth visiting the exhibition between March 14 and March 23, 2006.
